Absolutely beautiful! The jaunting car ride was super unique, and the guide for the boat portion was really helpful and knowledgeable. There is a small cafe where you can get lunch in between the jaunting car and boat ride, but it is very basic (packaged sandwiches, soup, and tea) so you might want to pack a lunch with you. Also, bring a poncho regardless of the season as it is completely outdoors.

This tour first by boat and then by horsedrawn jaunting car was one of the favourite experiences of our whole trip. The gap of Dunloe is beautiful, and what a great way to see it. I'd recommend this tour very highly. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that we did not enjoy that bicycles took up the front of our first boat (even though bicycling was not part of our tour), impeding our view and causing us to be rather on top of each other with others in the remaining space. One of our family was seated next to the bikes and got grease from the pedals on their pants.

Wonderful 1.5hrs through the rugged Gap of Dunloe and Black Valley before being taken by boat through the glorious ancient Woodlands of the Killarney National Park with it's three distinctive lakes. Wonderful witty commentary from our guide throughout as he negotiated narrow waterways before returning to Ross Castle.
