Full description
Day 1: Vancouver to Whistler
Leave Vancouver and drive north. Enjoy the views of mountain peaks, glaciers, and lakes, with stops at two waterfalls. Enjoy dinner in Whistler then hit the bars.
Day 2: Whistler to Vancouver
Try zip lining*, bungee jumping*, downhill mountain biking*, or hiking during your free time today. Head back to Vancouver in the afternoon.
Day 3: Vancouver to Kelowna
The first stop is at Bridal Veil Falls Provincial Park before visiting Hope. The tour continues to the Okanagan where you’ll go paddleboarding. Then it’s onto Kelowna for dinner.
Day 4: Kelowna to Banff
Head east and stop in Revelstoke, where you’ll have the option to go lake kayaking*. Continue onwards and enter the Rocky Mountains, Alberta, and Banff National Park.
Day 5: Banff to Rampart Creek
Begin the day with a visit to Moraine Lake (seasonal), and Lake Louise. On the Icefields Parkway, stop at Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, and Mistaya Canyon, before arriving at a wilderness hostel at Rampart Creek. Relax in the wood-burning sauna and enjoy a campfire under the stars.
Day 6: Rampart Creek to Jasper
Explore Jasper National Park with a stop at the powerful and picturesque Athabasca Falls. Then move on to Maligne Canyon for a scenic hike, before rolling into the Jasper town site.
Day 7: Jasper to Banff
Head back south where the main attraction is the Columbia Icefield, the largest ice field in the Rocky Mountains. Get up close to the Athabasca Glacier, either on a hike to the toe of the glacier, or on board the massive Ice Explorer*. After an included dinner, enjoy the great nightlife or relax at the Banff Upper Hot Springs*.
Day 8: Banff Free Day
On your free day, enjoy the sights in the Banff area, hike a local mountain, or for an optional extra cost, go white water rafting, canoeing, or mountain biking.
Day 9: Banff to Kelowna
Before leaving the Rockies, there are stops at Takakkaw Falls (seasonal), Emerald Lake, and the Natural Bridge. Then it’s back to Kelowna for the night.
Day 10: Kelowna to Vancouver
You’ll have time to explore the Othello Tunnels outside Hope before returning to Vancouver.
