Full description
Following an early morning pickup, start the tour of UNESCO-listed religious landmarks at the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. See the sacred temples of Hanuman Dhoka, Taleju Mandir, Hanuman Temple, and Kaal Bhairav.  Next, you’ll stop at the iconic Swayambhunath Temple, offering a vision of Kathmandu Valley from atop a hill. Calm your soul in the serene grounds filled with mantra-covered mani walls and prayer wheels throughout. See the life cycle of Buddha carved in stone and various sculptures. Bow down in the Harati Harati Temple and the Saraswati Temple built especially for Hindus.   After Swayambhunath, you visit Pashupatinath Temple, home to Lord Shiva and a sacred place surrounded by Hindu deities. Pashupati is the king of animals and the temple is famous for its monkeys. From here, you can also see the Bagmati River flowing below.   Moving on, you’ll visit Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in South Asia and the final stop of the tour. Here you'll see the Tibetan monasteries built in a Buddhist style and discover the various cuisines on offer. Delight in the serenity surrounding you and return from your guided tour with a peaceful soul.
