Full description
Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing National Park while your driver guide shares insights into the natural and cultural history of this fascinating region. Kata Tjuta simply translated means ‘many heads’ and given the 36 steep-sided domes of Kata Tjuta, it is aptly named. This incredible formation of rock domes extends six kilometres into the ground and is the remains of erosion that began more than 500 million years ago. The area is sacred under Anangu men’s law and under this law, details of many stories of Kata Tjuta are not known except to initiated men. While delighting in chilled Australian wines and canapés, you can enjoy the wonder of a Kata Tjuta sunset. Each passing minute brings something new as the domes continue to change colour with the setting sun.

It was terrible! Had been looking forward to the experience of Kata Tjuta, when the meeting with Ulurur was so nice. The promotion aroused false hopes, with a fine sunset and snacks while clearly seeing the cliff and enjoying the experience from an elevated vantage point. After the bus tour we were released on the ground, with a lot of bush vegetation ahead of us, which did not do the mighty Kata Tjuta justice! In addition, we were hit by millions of small flies as soon as we got off the bus. We fought with flies for an hour, which did not make the consumption very enjoyable, and the experience of the mountain was a big disappointment! A vantage point should be a raised place so you see the cliff in the best way, then the bus should be equipped with hats with fly nets that could be lent out vb So the cliff there was nothing wrong, but the arrangement could have been made better! It was a disaster.

Wonderful! Nice little tour, delicious snacks, good sparkling wine and wine!

A very nice tour and nice driver. Well organized and carried out. Not overrun and a short stop at a vantage point. Really nice. Drinks were gladly refilled. We loved it!
