1. From Bangkok: ElephantsWorld Kanchanaburi 2-Day Experience

The experience begins with pickup from your hotel in Bangkok at 6:30 AM and heads to ElephantsWorld in Kanchanaburi. Upon arrival, meet the friendly elephants and observe them bathing, then prepare their food and feed them. Once you’ve worked up an appetite of your own, enjoy lunch and some time to relax. After lunch, gather and plant new food for the elephants, including banana trees and sugarcane. In the afternoon prepare some tasty fruit baskets, then feed them the sticky rice balls you made in the morning. Later, take the elephants down to the river for a bath and scrub them clean before offering up more tasty snacks. The day’s itinerary ends at around 3:30 PM, followed by a traditional dinner. Spend the night in a Thai style cottage beside the river and admire the view from your terrace. Wake up to a tasty breakfast on day two then decide what activities you’d like to participate in. Take a walk with the elephants through the jungle, follow a local mahout up to the top of a nearby mountain, or go for a relaxing float along the River Kwai. Enjoy lunch after your morning activities, then check-out and say goodbye to your newfound elephant friends. At the end of an unforgettable adventure be dropped off back to Bangkok.

What people are saying about Kanchanaburi Province

We had a full and fantastic day. Would recommend the “A team” to any and everyone! They were knowledgeable, attentive and added a bonus elephant encounter. The tour of the historic River Kwai bridge, cemetery and museum were informative and interesting. Seeing the train made it come full circle. The Erawan national park was unbelievable! Each of the 7 layers were unique and beautiful- but the hike to the top was more than moderate! The lunch was fantastic with such variety and was delicious. Finally we fed and rode an elephant- which was over and above! Cannot say how much loved our guides for making such a memorable day- hope you will too!

the excursion was well organized, but the lady who accompanied us only did the minimum. She didn't say anything about the area we drove through (there were a lot of natural stones to be seen and so on). At the waterfalls she turned around and told us we had free time now and then we didn't see her again until lunch

I recommend all the attractions, in particular the Bridge for Kwai, the Burmese train ride but also meeting with elephants The waterfalls themselves also make an amazing impression and refreshing the bath. Really worth !

The tour is the best I've ever done. Spending so much time with these wonderful animals is just amazing. The guides and staff are very friendly.

Mr Pongsin was very knowledgeable and friendly, he knew the best spots to take us and along with our driver Mr Panay were a great team
