Depart from the picturesque beach of Vlychada. Discover ancient winemaking traditions, tour one of the top 10 wine museums in the world, and hear about the cutting-edge production facilities at one of the most imposing wineries on the island. Start your wine tasting tour at Venetsanos Winery, the first industrial winery on the island. This beautiful wine estate is located right above the Port of Athinios overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. Learn about the winery's rich history and marvel at striking views. Take an optional guided tour led by a sommelier and learn about quality, enology, and flavor alchemy. Sample 4 of the estate's wines accompanied by an assortment of light snacks. Next, head to the Koutsoyannopoulos Wine Museum. This one-of-a-kind museum is nestled in a cave and took the family who owns the estate 21 years to create. Learn about the history of winemaking from an audio guide and taste 4 different wines served with crackers and chocolate. Finally, head to one of the most imposing wineries on the island of Santorini, Estate Argyros. Listen as specialized wine educators provide detailed information about the estate as well as the grape varieties indigenous to Santorini. Sip on 4 of the estate's current vintage wines accompanied by an assortment of fine Greek cheeses and breadsticks.

The tour starts with transfer from your hotel to the starting point. The tour starts after a short breefing about the Jeeps and the places that we will visit. The convoy starts with a small tour around Pyrgos village to showcase the panoramic view of Kamari, mostly to let the guests get acquainted with driving the car. Then follows the first off road part from Pyrgos all the way down to Megalochori village After that, the first stop is at the windmills in Emporio. Off road drive to Vlychada, small stop to the port of Vlychada (1st toilet stop if requested) followed by a quick tour to Perivolos black beach. From there we head to the main off road part that heads to Theros Beach, where we make the first Drone video and photo session. After Theros we head to Saint Anna church where we follow a small trail to a secret and quiet beach for a 40 minutes beach stop and then we return for the BBQ break at the church of Saint Anna for approximately 40 minutes. Continuing our drive we head for the Akrotiri area, towards Kaminia Beach where we climb the panoramic side and then we drive until the point of Akrotiri for a stop and second drone session to a magnificent point overlooking the caldera. (Lets say above the white beach) Finally we drive until Megalochori to a beautiful and not crowdy sunset point for the last drone session before returning to the starting point.

After being picked up from your hotel, begin your tour at a traditional farm in Akrotiri. Enjoy tasting Santorinian wine, and local delicacies such as fava paste, and homemade traditional sweets. Pause to take in the stunning sea view and snap a few photos from the nearby lighthouse before heading to the highest point on the island: the Prophet Elias Monastery. Here, take a moment to reflect in the monastery's orthodox chapel, and taste local products made by the monks, including olive oil, capers, and nuts. Next, stop and chat for a while over a relaxing coffee break in the charming, traditional village of Pyrgos. You can’t leave Santorini without tasting its amazing local wines, unique because of the volcanic terroir and the different way of cultivation. We can offer you the opportunity to enjoy our local famous wines, such as white dry Assyrtiko and Nikteri and sweet Vinsanto, combined with amazing landscapes. We may start from a new winery, located in Kontochori, close to the centre of Fira, named Anhydrous . The old open -air cinema of Fira was transformed in 2019 into a winery filled with oak wine tanks and large spaces that offer atmospheric wine tastings. Next stop can be the unique Wine Museum of Koutsoyannopoulos located at Vothonas village. This museum happens to be nested in a cave and because of its unique position this natural labyrinth is eight meters below ground and 300 meters long. With the Koutsogiannopoulos family’s knowledge and historical exhibits, guests will get a glimpse of what life was like as a winemaker here. There you will combine the wine tasting with the study of traditional wine preparation. We can finish our special wine trip in an exceptional architectural structure of Venetsanos winery. Located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini, Venetsanos winery was built in 1947 by Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, as it is built in an unconventional manner constructed from above and moving downwards, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency at a time when access to electricity was very limited. In this breath-taking location that offers incredible views over the caldera and volcanic islands you can indulge yourself with a special wine tasting at sunset time.

Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel or the closest accessible point, and set a day of sailing while tasting Santorini's most excellent wines chosen and served by your certified wine guide. Drive to the island's south to get onboard and get prepared for our private 5-hour cruise. Pass by the famous Red beach, where you will briefly make a stop to take some pictures of this unique, beautiful and colorful volcanic landscape from the water. Then, pass by the beautiful and only accessible by boat white beach, a stunning creation of the massive volcanic eruptions. On our way you will be able to witness the naturally sculpted on a black rock Indian’s face, before we enter the caldera of Santorini where the picturesque lighthouse is on the top of the cliff on the right. On the left, witness the remaining of an eruption, an island consisting of pumice, the island of Aspronisi. This is the time where our sailboat passes between the two volcanoes (Palaia & Nea Kameni) and approaches the sulfuric warm water of the hot springs (warm springs). Finally you can swim at the calm and crystal clear waters of Thirassia island and enjoy your tasteful meal cooked on board for you having the chance to marvel at the eastward view of the caldera. This will be the time to witness the wonderful Santorini sunset on board. Most of the wine tasting will take place in Thirassia, for safety reasons, however you will have already enjoyed our first 2 wines until we get there. The tasting includes dry whites, a rose, a dry red & the famous desert Santorini wine (Vinsanto) Opt for sunset cruise to marvel the sunset on board. After the beautiful sunset, we will head back to the Marina of Vlychada, where your transfer will be waiting for you to drive you back to the same spot you were picked up.
