On your arrival, your guide will take you on a walking tour around the city center. Besides seeing many historical buildings and monuments you will climb up with funicular to the 13th-century medieval fortress, a symbol of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. There, you can see spectacular views of the town and Alp mountains in the distance. Gain a deeper understanding of the city's landmarks and more confidence to navigate on your own for the next 1 hour of your free time. Continue to the Alpine resort of Bled. Upon arrival, ride up to the top of the cliff which seats the oldest castle in Slovenia. Be hypnotized by the views of Lake Bled, surrounded by stoic mountains. The whole castle is one big museum where you will learn all about Bleds culture and history. After about 45 minutes at the castle, descend down to Bled town which sits on the edge of the lake. Go explore, sit down for a coffee, order the famous Bled cream cake, or if you are more adventurous, rent a bicycle a do a spin around the lake. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy a scenic ride back to Zagreb.

We'll do a few hours tour. When we arriving on Bled we will start on the point where we sit on pletna traditional boat made by locals which are only known at Bled. Following the boat ride, you get some time to explore the little island and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area. The journey will following the tour on the top of a rock, from where we will enter into the Castle. The Bled Castle offers the finest view of the Bled island, the town of Bled and the wider countryside of the Gorenjska region. The journey back will take us through the villages of the Upper Bohinj Valley.

The hike will start at the 1300m high Pokljuka plateau. Our journey upward will begin with a hike through an enchanted winter forest, reaching a vast mountain pasture with picturesque shepherd’s cottages scattered all over the place. After a while, we will pass the forest line and reach a mountain hut for a short break. Then we will continue on the snow-covered slopes of the mountain. In approximately three hours, we will reach the summit and see that all the effort was worth it. The view of the snow-covered Triglav and surrounding mountains and valleys is one you definitely won’t forget. On our way back, we will stop again at the mountain hut and have a typical Slovenian mountain lunch.
