Great experience despite the number of groups at the Ice Cave, knowledgeable and helpful guide and safe driver - especially over the rough tracks! One thing to note on this tour, there is a 4km round trip walking on rough paths - no issue for us but our group was slowed down by some members who weren't fit enough for this part - need to perhaps make this more explicit in the guidance ?

Wonderful experience, the guide was very informative, helpful and fun and kept us entertained during the 4x4 bumpy ride-which was an experience itself! The hike is relatively easy 30-40 minutes hike, got to drink fresh water from a small waterfall which was magical. The blue ice caves were magnificent and despite reviews I ve read, we actually got to spend a long time in the cave, exploring several areas and had plenty of time to take lots of photos. Absolutely worth it, once in a lifetime experience for our 4 and 11 year old boys.

The ice cave was so beautiful after a little long drive and a little long walk. The guide explained us a lot about the ice cave and the history of Iceland, but many of that was difficult for me to catch due to Islandic accent and lack of my listening skill. I was accompanied by my 4-year-old son, but the guide sometimes waited for him, so he could also walk the way to the ice cave (about 20 minutes walk). About 20 minutes drive on off-road is included to reach the point from which we can walk to the ice cave.
