This was an excellent tour of Jerusalem highlights with an expert guide. Our small group of 12 covered a lot of the must-sees in a rather short time; Church of the Holy Sepulcher, King David’s tomb, room of the last supper, the old city, the via Dolorosa, and the western wall. I really enjoyed that we had a small group; Ofir was a well organized & highly knowledgeable guide and driver. To start, 1/2 of the group went to Bethlehem, & 1/2 went to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum. Yad Vashem is absolutely worth a visit. We began the walking tour in the old city, exploring all 4 quarters & the important sites. At the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the lines were very short & everyone could visit Christ’s tomb. Lunch was a disappointment; options were a falafel pita/chicken pita, for 50 shekels! Go off for lunch on your own rather than w/the group. We were all annoyed! The tour continued down the Via Dolorosa & ended at the wailing wall, which was a moving & poignant way to end the day.

Guide was very well known. She would even be recognized by a lot of the tour guides along the way whom she either worked or trained before. She really is a very experienced guide and has a lot of stories but best part about her is that she doesn't tell them in a way that it feels like your in a class and it gets boring. She tells the important details and some extra info and gives you enough time to be on your own and have the experience of being in the Holy Land not just to take pictures but to just to enjoy the city of peace. She treats everyone like adults which I like and not baby anyone, and gives direct and simple instructions as to where to meet up after.

Old Jerusalem is very busy, mostly w large Group Tours. Our Guide, Uda Levy took good care of us and managed to get us to see everything we wanted, albeit at time briefly due to the crowds. Mr Levy was open to all questions and provided detailed answers. This Small Group Tour was for a total of 13 people and was run from a comfortable stretch Luxury Van which took us to areas (parking ) which Buses could not reach. This made some areas of the Tour less of walk. The Visit to Mary’s Spring ( Saturday) was beautiful and in a rural setting deep in the Valley below the Holocaust Museum which is also worth a visit ( days other than Sabbat)
