Jasper SkyTram is the highest and longest, guided aerial tramway in Canada. Since the grand opening in 1964, millions of visitors have ascended Whistlers Mountain on Jasper SkyTram to experience breathtaking Rocky Mountain views. The tram whisks people to the upper station located at an elevation of 2,263 meters in only 7.5 minutes, providing easy access to a boardwalk with interpretive panels. Visitors can hike the 1.4 kilometer Whistlers Summit Trail to stand atop Whistlers Mountain (2,463 meters) for a 360° view of six mountain ranges including Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Jasper SkyTram is located 7 kilometers south of Jasper off Highway 93 at the end of Whistlers Road in Jasper National Park—the largest park in the UNESCO Canadian Rockies World Heritage Site. If visitors only have time to experience one attraction in this magnificent setting, then they can see it all from the top of Jasper SkyTram.
