Overall, Sundog organized and conducted the activity very efficiently. We were even able at the last minute to reschedule our walk to another day when the weather on our scheduled date turned extremely cold. The transportation to and from our hotel was comfortable, timely and efficient. The staff helped with fitting of the supplied safety equipment for the ice walk (helmet, warm waterproof boots, traction cleats) which all functioned well. The scenery along the chosen route was fantastic. Our guide was very good. She was knowledgeable and friendly and during the walk she made accommodations for those in our group who needed some special instructions or assistance in certain spots along the route.

Seeing Maligne Canyon in the winter time is an awe inspiring way to see this canyon. I had seen it during the summer, this ice walk gives you a whole new perspective on this natural wonder. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and I really appreciate the emphasis on touring the canyon safely. My family and I really enjoyed this tour and we recommend it highly!

A nice hike through the canyon with a very nice and well informed guide. Much has been said about the creation and wildlife in the canyon. The group was a good size and you hardly met any other hikers on the way. Unfortunately the weather was too warm, so not everything was frozen over, but still a breathtaking experience. Those who hike and love nature will not be disappointed here, even if the hike is not particularly long. Therefore, you can do it if you don't hike often.
