The day before this tour, we joined the tour in Agra by the same company(It was good!)After that tour, we were taken to their office and asked to pay for the entrance fee for the tour in Jaipur because they would buy tickets in advance by internet. He told me it was 4000Rp for 2 people which was the same price if we buy tickets by ourselves, so we paid 4000Rp. But actually, it was 2500Rp.. And more, we asked him to take us The Palace of winds and paid for the tickets for it, too, but the guide tried not to enter there as no worth seeing inside(just taking photos) But I told him I would like to enter because we had paid for the tickets for it, so he bought us the tickets and we entered. It was worth seeing! And we didn’t have a time in Bazar which I asked to go. The guide took us the textile shop and jewelry shop which we didn’t ask to go. (But the shops ware not bad) Anyway, both the guide and the driver took effort to get a good review from us. So overall, we had a nice time.
Choose an early start between 8AM and 10 AM to beat the heat and crowds. Start off with a quick tour of Jaigarh and its panoramic views of the city from the Aravalli Hills. See the “Jaivana”, which was once the world’s largest cannon on wheels. Next, drive outside of Jaipur to the UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most opulent hill forts of India, Amer Fort. Stroll through the combination of royal Rajput residences, temples, and courtyards which are laid out across multiple levels overlooking Lake Maota and the gardens. Step inside the impressive hall of mirrors, known as Sheesh Mahal or "Diwaan-e-Khaas" and see the various gateways known as 'Pol' which make for countless photo opportunities. Mindful of ethical tourism practices, this tour does not offer elephant rides to the top of Amer Fort. Then, stop at Panna Meena ka Kund, a traditional Rajasthani Baori (or stepwell) which...
We were very pleased with our guide Sanjeev Bansal and our driver. Sanjeev was very knowledgable and provided detailed explanations regarding the stops as per the itinerary as well as additional stops requested by us. His English is excellent and the tour provided for a very pleasant day in Jaipur. Sanjeev accustomed the tour as per our requests and we were only taken to the sites we had specifically requested.
