When visiting Jackson Hole, experience an old-fashioned adventure on a dog sledding tour from Moran along the Buffalo Fork River. Enjoy the protected land of Heart Six Ranch, featuring amazing sweeping views of the river valley and The Grand Teton mountains. Stay warm inside a sled bag as a team of highly trained sled dogs guided by a professional musher pulls you safely along pristine, snow-covered tracks. The actual time in the dogsled is approximately 45 minutes. If requested the guide will teach you to drive the dogsled. Set off into the beautiful pastures of Heart Six Ranch and travel along Buffalo Valley Road. Take in the Buffalo Fork, a tributary that runs in front of the ranch and through Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest. Finish off your trip with a warm cup of hot chocolate in the Buffalo Valley Cafe.

What people are saying about Jackson, Wyoming

Taylor was a very fun and pleasant guide. He was good with the dogs and answered all of our questions. The experience itself was quite fun. And we got to meet some adorable puppies! This isn't a hard core sledding experience but it was enjoyable and we were glad we did it. Definitely would recommend.

We had a wonderful time! All employees were very welcoming and willing to share information about the dogs. Taylor and Aspen were exceptional! The hot cocoa and warm cookies were over the top!! The only issue we had was that my husband’s shoulders were too broad for the sled.

Went on our honeymoon! Our guide was incredible and so nice!! The dogs were beautiful, well trained and well taken care of. Our guide taught us so much and made the experience so memorable. Going back in the summer for fly fishing!!!

The dog sledding and sleigh ride was the highlight of our trip. It was great to meet the new dog momma and her three pups. What a fun day in the great state of Wyoming!

Everyone was really nice and they treated the dogs with kindness. Very well recommended.
