Nicosia è una città affascinante da esplorare, che offre uno sguardo su due mondi molto diversi. Questo tour inizia nell'area meridionale cipriota e supera la zona cuscinetto della "Linea Verde" per esplorare la parte settentrionale di Nicosia.

La prima tappa è la Cattedrale di San Giovanni, costruita in stile franco-bizantino. Poi, un tour a piedi attraverso le strade storiche di Laiki Geitonia, all'interno delle mura veneziane. È un labirinto di strade tortuose con chiese, piazze ed edifici decorati.

Dopo aver superato la Linea Verde, si ascolteranno racconti sulla storia e la cultura della città mentre si visitano alcuni dei siti principali. Poi tornate nell'area meridionale, in via Ledra, e scoprite la vita moderna della città con le vostre forze.

Good: guide was great. Driver/coach also great. Felt safe. Good planning with breaks for refreshments to/from Nicosia. Problem: this is a long day. Paphos is 2 hours each way with perfect driving conditions. With hotel pickups and traffic woes it becomes 3 hours depending on which hotel you are in. Preparation required.

Tour was as described, well organised, and being a small group when we went, kept well to time. Chris was knowledgeable and efficient. From Limassol, I’d highly recommend. I know that the people from Paphos had a longer travel time, but for us, it wasn’t a challenging day.

I enjoyed the chance to go to Nicosia and the guide was very knowledgeable with lots of interesting facts. Unfortunately she was rather obsessed with excessively out toilet facilities wherever we went! We expected to hear a bit more about the buffer zone and “no man’s land” but this wasn’t covered. Also there was a limit to what you could do on the Turkish side as all the stalls sold counterfeit goods which you’re not allowed to take back over the border.

It was an excellent tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and kept us all together. The lemonade stop was very good and we had plenty of free time after. The temperature was very hot so was quite tiring. Overall very good value for money
