In the morning, you'll stroll down one of the most important streets in the city and reach the Cathedral of Barcelona. Walk the narrow streets of the oldest part of the city. Marvel at the quaint medieval places and learn about their historical significance. Follow your guide through the streets of the Born neighborhood, on the way to the bus you'll see Santa Maria del Mar.
Next, board an air-conditioned coach for a panoramic tour through the city. Head to Montjuïc Mountain, ride the cable car for amazing views over the city and stop at the MNAC viewpoint. On the way back, the bus will drive through Passeig de Gracia and you'll see some of the most emblematic Gaudi buildings.
In the afternoon, check in again at the office in Estació del Nord, and board a coach to Montserrat. After a 1-hour drive, a cog-wheel train will take you up the mountain. World-famous for its rocky geography, Montserrat's beautiful scenery was declared a National Park in 1987.
Later, discover the history and architectural style of the Monastery. Admire the Gothic and Renaissance details of the basilica and sanctuary. Learn about the legend of the apparition of the Madonna and Child in the cave of Santa Cova. You'll have free time to taste fine liquors, shop for local treats, or visit the audio-visual exhibition once your tour finishes.
