Full description

Set sail on a cruise between Europe and Asia on Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait. See the wonders of both East and West from the water while accompanied by a multilingual guide. Stopover on the Asian side and explore Kanlica, a district that stands in defiance of time.

On board the yacht, hear stories of this mesmerizing city as you set out to pass sights on both continents, including Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, the Leander Tower, and Istanbul's most posh areas, Ortakoy and Bebek.

Pass under the two suspended Bosphorus bridges that connect Europe and Asia and Admire the thick walls of the medieval Rumeli Fortress. Snap photos of the city skyline and hear about the confluence of cultures that exists at this meeting point between Europe and Asia.

During the cruise, you'll be free to wander between decks to capture the best shots of Istanbul's attractions. Your guide will illustrate the history of what you see during the cruise; Bosphorus has a storied past and your guides know the fun facts you can't find in a tourist handbook.

The Bosphorus separating two continents has always been crucial to life in Istanbul. Once a prime channel to move fearsome armies through, it now serves more peaceful functions. Seeing this important trading route is a must-do for travelers.

The ride on the Bosphorus is beautiful and you were made aware of all the sights along the two coasts and received information about them. The tour guide was extremely nice and friendly. Small snacks and drinks were also served. However, the stop on the Asian side is very short and not in a worthwhile area.

The cruise was good. We were offered pick up from the hotel which i was very pleased. My understanding from the offer was that the bus will pick us up from the hotel and also drop us back, however, that wasn’t the case. The tour guide came and said we will wait till the car comes. Than she took a phone call and informed us that we had to meet the driver at a main road, which we didn’t mind, however, it was down a very steep road , which we found little bit difficult to go down as my husband has a problem with his knees. I asked the tour guide, where? We will be dropped off after the cruise, as we don’t think we can climb up that road. She said it possibility be near your hotel. She had a hat with the driver and told us that there is no drop off and we would have to find our own way back. It was a very long bus drive before we got to the yacht. It was not made clear that the company will only do the pick up and not the drop off. Transport information needs to be clear before booking.

Beautiful boat, small-scale, good care on board in the form of water, tea, nuts and a small cheese sandwich with tomato. The trip was also fine, big round on the Bosphorus. The stop on the Asian part is short and the trip took 2.5 hours instead of 3 hours. But we thought that was fine!
