We were a group of 8 people sharing the vus with 3 others ans we had an amazing time. James our guide could not have been kinder, more knowledgeable and more accommodating. He adapted the itinerary to the weather so that we would see everything in the best light possible. He arranged stops whenever someone needed to pee (even when that was right after departure). And he brought us to the most magical places. It is a lot of hours in the bus, but if you set your expectations right before hand, the scenery, the Scottish music, the stories from the guide and the good company more than make up for it. The great thing is that we had terrific weather for this time of the year and for Scotland and we were able to do several walks in the isle of Skye which were so magical. I would definitely book this tour again and recommend it to others!

The trip was amazing. We started our trip in the Edinburgh city center, where we met with our guide and driver John, who is the most Scottish person I've ever met, and we head north towards the Highlands. We made several stops along the way and seen many wonderful attractions. We spent the night in an hotel in Inverness (not part of the tour package) and we met again with the group the next day to go to the magnificent Isle of Skye. Overall the trip was really enjoyable, tiring at times, but well worth it. The atmosphere in the bus was quite relaxed and felt like we were going on a trip with a group of friends, thanks in most part to John who was both very knowledgeable in Scottish history and also very funny; he managed to make the trip interesting and entertaining.

Booked my 3-day Skye tour (from Edinburgh) with Timberbush and had an absolutely phenomenal time. Our guide Paul was fantastically knowledgeable about Scottish history and folktales, and tailored the trip to everyone's needs. Only regret was not booking an even longer tour to explore more of the Highlands. Would definitely recommend anyone hoping to see more of Scotland to book a tour with Timberbush.

Highly recommended! Nick, overall lovely guy, is a great driver and excellent guide. His historical/local anecdotes, illustrative tea towels and thematic music added great value to the trip.

Highly recommendation !A great tour guide and stunning route through the Highlands that I've never seen before
