I took the tour starting in Interlaken, but it actually started in Zurich, which would make it a very very long day. I think there was a stop in Interlaken for the Zurich people, and several of them didn't get back to the bus in time, so that delayed our departure by at least 20 minutes. The tour itself in JungFrau, including the new fast cable ride up to the Eiger was excellent. The cogwheel train up to the summit is uneventful, as it is mostly inside the mountain. The facilities at the "Top of Europe" are superb. Must better than at the top of Mont Blac, or the Matterhorn.

  • Day Trip from Zurich: Grindelwald First Mountain Adventure

The trail with a 40-meter one-rope suspension bridge promises an extraordinary adrenaline kick. Grab a bite to eat on the spectacular sun terrace of the restaurant “Berggasthaus First” (food not included). Nearby, you'll find one of Switzerland's most thrilling activities: the First Flyer, a gigantic zip line that gives you the feeling of flying over 800 meters down the hill with a maximum speed of 84 kilometers per hour. Then, continue by mountain cart on an exceptional ride to Bort, from where you complet...

This tour was amazing. Our guide was very knowledgeable. People who do this tour must realize that there is a significant amount of self-guided time. There certainly could have been more specific instruction about how to actually get to the cable car to get up to Mt. First. It wasn’t terribly difficult to figure out, but that was a small bit that was lacking. In general, though, the tour and the whole experience were absolutely fantastic!!!
