It was a modest but very informative walk that encompassed a few blocks around the Architecture Foundation Center. The Center itself has a very interesting miniature of the Chicago Loop and a good array of books and potential gifts in their 'store'. We had been on boat tours before, but this was the first walking tour. We really enjoyed the walk, the information and the questions we got to ask!
Very informative about the architecture and development along both sides of the Chicago River. There are different tours with different styles of boats. I would check out their boats and see if theirs have advantages for you...
We did the night architecture tour and fireworks. We had Erica as our guide and she was great. Nice smooth ride and great scenery. Learned a lot about the buildings and their style. Definitely worth it.
The guide was extremely knowledgeable and highly entertaining. The timing was perfect for the fireworks. This was a good event for the adults and our 14 and 9 year old.
We had a great time learning about the architecture of Chicago while visiting from out of town. It was fun being out in the lake and also cruising the river!
