Overall good tour. Were picked up 25 minutes late and taken to Luxor. The rides went well and you felt safe. The first thing we did when we arrived was the Karnak Temple. However, we didn't have enough time here. The guide rushed across the site, there was no time to stop and let the temple sink in. There was no time for photos either. We then continued on the boat across the Nile for lunch. After that came the Hatshepsut Temple and the Valley of the Kings. Before that, however, we stopped selling at a stonemason for a very long time. This time could have been better spent at Karnak Temple. Afterwards you could book a Nile trip with a visit to a banana plantation for 13 euros or 325 Egyptian pounds. Alternatively, one would have sat 1 1/2 hours longer on the bus. All in all, however, to be recommended and the guide Mimo gave a lot of information in both English and German.

Overall very worthwhile. Unfortunately, there is not enough time in Luxor in the various temples, since the journey from Hurghada is quite long at 5 hours. I would have preferred to focus on a temple or two. The Nile trip is unspectacular, the entrance fee to Tutankhamun's tomb overpriced, but once you're there, you can do it. German guide was quite nice, I can recommend it overall.

Luxor trip was good, egyptologist was very informative, but we felt that we were a bit rushed in some of the places that we had gone to see like Karnak and the Valley of the kings,. The bus flew past the colossus of memnon, just to pull up and take time at a alabaster shop, we complained so they did stop for 5 minutes on the way back over. then felt like we were rushed round the Valley of the kings, and we weren't allowed to go into Tutankhamen tomb, it would have been better if the guide went in with us to explain about all the inscriptions on the walls. Then we paid more money to go on a motorboat to monkey Island only to find that the animals were in cages, they assured us that they were let out after 6pm, I can't see them catching the crocodiles everyday to put them back in the cages. overall it was a nice trip, especially to see Karnak, colossus of memnon and the Valley if the kings, but would have been a lot better to spend more time at these places, as that was what we paid for.
