Lisbon: 48-Hour Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus Tour and Oceanarium Entry

1. Lisbon: 48-Hour Hop-On-Hop-Off Bus Tour and Oceanarium Entry

Board a hop-on hop-off bus and head to the riverside to see the many boats and ships in the Port of Lisbon. Choose from 2 routes: Marvel at the Manueline architecture of Lisbon's squares and avenues on the Belém Lisbon tour, and discover slick, modern buildings on the modern Lisbon bus tour. You can admire the newest area of the capital, the Nation's Park, built on the site of Expo ’98 complete with modern architecture, leisure areas, and restaurants. The route goes along the river, and you can visit Alfama and the Tile Museum on your journey. You can then visit the Lisbon Oceanarium, one of the best aquariums in the world with more than 15,000 animals and over 450 different species of plants. The full route consists of Praça da Figueira, Rua do Comercio, Campo das Cebolas, Cruises Terminal, Museu do Azulejo, Oceanário, Pavilhão de Portugal, C.C. Vasco da Gama, Hotel Myriad, Campo Pequeno, Picoas, Mq. Pombal, Restauradores and Praça Figueira

This is a great deal Where you get three activities in one deal. Two kinds of yellow bus tours. Both to Old and New Lisbon City plus the Entry to the Oceanarium (Aquarium). You should do this activity in the first 2 days of arrival in Lisbon as it will provide you with an overview of the city. The audio guide commentary is very useful. Simply go to the Yellow Bus Tour Start point mentioned clearly in the instructions or get on the bus at any stop on the route. One complete bus loop will take around 60 minutes and I recommend at least 2-3 hours for the Oceanarium to soak up the experience and enjoy the trip without rushing it. Overall a great activity recommended for solo travelers, couples, friends, and families with kids of all ages.

The Oceanario is gorgeous and worth exploring inside and out. It's in a modern part of Lisbon that's very easy to overlook. The tram ride to the Vasco de Gamas bridge is fun. Unfortunately, the yellow buses don't seem to run as often as the red buses. :-/

Very nice day trip. At the palace of Pena we were before the big crowds. Guide Jorge is so enthusiastic and likes to tell you about the sights. Really recommended.

We loved the flexibility of using the 2…dayb. The. Oceanarium entrance included was a wonderful. Best aquarium !

Cool way to get around town. Getting on and off was easy enough and the oceanarium was awesome
