2nd trip to Pearl Harbour after visiting 20yrs ago and it did not disappoint again - a reflective and sobering experience which was run with military precision, as you would expect from a naval base. The tour itself was run very well with our tickets digitally sent after ordering, we met at a designated local pick up location a short walk from our hotel in Waikiki Our driver was Jonny who was brilliant from the start with a perfect blend of comedic banter and detailed commentary of the locations on route - he made the whole experience a joy…..well done Jonny! Would highly recommend

The whole trip was very well organized. Our guide picked us up on time in a black minibus. First he drove us through the city and told us exciting facts about every building. After that we went up the hill to the "Military Cemetery"; impressive. After that he drove us to Pearl Harbor. We had about 1.5 hours to linger until the journey to the USS Arizona Memorial began. This was very impressive. When we were back on land, we still had time to pick up our luggage, which you can leave in front of the entrance for $6. The time we had was enough for us to see everything. However, if you also want to visit the submarine, you need more time and you have to pay an extra entrance fee.

This was a fun and worthwhile tour. The driver was friendly and had a lot of great insight into various sites around Honolulu. I would have liked an option to stay at the Pearl Harbor Memorial longer so I could see everything there. As it was I was unable to tour the submarine museum or go over to Ford Island, but it's highly likely that's available and I booked too short a tour, so if you want to see everything plan a whole day and look for that.
