What a day! Our guide Ling, was brilliant and started our day by taking us to the local market where she shared information about the traditional ingredients used in vietnamese cooking. She bought the ingredients we needed for our meal and helped us to buy any additional items that we might enjoy for the best price. We then went to the cooking school where we began by taking a trip on the basket boats while Ling prepared some of the food. The boats were an experience! So much fun and energy from the locals. I would recommend having some cash in you for this ride so you can take advantage of fun extras along the way! When we returned to the cooking school, Ling provided us with hats and aprons to begin our lesson. We spent a couple of hours preparing, cooking and eating four dishes, learning lots along the way. Ling was able to cater for varying dietary requirements and all of the food was DELICIOUS! Would recommend this tour to anyone!

Very nice market tour, we recommend going early in the morning so as to be the only tourists. After a tour of the market and acquired to cook lunch, we headed to the car, which at full speed took us to a very picturesque village on the river. From there, after welcoming us and a bottle of water, we got on the boats and were navigated in the river / stream. (We recommend long clothing to avoid mosquitoes) Some nice situations on the boats that we won't reveal to you. The tour concluded with a wonderful cooking class. And the lunch was the best made in Vietnam. (We requested without Glutamate), and the cook told us that she also cooks without it at home! 1000 points for this cooking class experience Thank you

The cooking class and food are well worth the price! The market tour and basket boat ride we’re a bonus.

Super cooking course, driving on the boats is a bit tourist-style;-)

Really enjoyable. Great fun and cooking lesson great
