Even though it was raining, we still carry on with the cruise. Good knowledge by the skipper, Thomas. Very detailed explanation on the rocks and the local area. Water was choppy and the swell at lighthouse was about 2-3mtr high but the skipper kept us safe. He handles the boat well. Safety briefing was carried out 1st thing before we set for sail. It was an enjoyable trip.

Tim gave us a fantastic tour of the Derwent River, Storm Bay and Iron Pot lighthouse. Commentary was awesome. Informative and humorous all at the same time! We were lucky enough to see Dolphins, who also graced us for a show in the boats wake, in addition to seals, Sea Eagles and numerous other bird species. Highly recommended.

Doing a boat trip in Hobart is crucial to understanding the maritime nature of life here. You get to look back from the water and really see ‘Hobart’. Knowledge, friendly, proud local - skipper of the boat - Toby. Modern clean fast boat. We were free to walk around. Windy day. Water quite choppy. Made it more exciting.
