Day 1 After getting picked up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh, enjoy a scenic drive through the Tien Giang province where you will catch a boat and cruise along the Tien River. Along the way, stop at the famous Cai Be floating market. Enjoy fresh coconuts and tropical fruits on board and learn more about local life here from your local guide. Continue your cruise along the river, visiting popped rice, coconut candy, and rice wine producers. Stop at a bee farm where you will enjoy some traditional Vietnamese honey tea and take a sampan ride on a small canal, listening to traditional southern Vietnamese music as you go. Break for lunch at a local home where you will enjoy a traditional cooking class. Learn how to prepare Vietnamese pancakes or spring rolls then sit down to savor the rewards of your efforts over lunch. After lunch, enjoy a leisurely cycle or stroll through a nearby village before boarding your boat to Ben Tre where you will spend the night at a local homestay. Upon arrival, spend some time checking out the local village before dinner. Take a ride on one of the bicycles or walk around the premises' fruit garden, flower garden, and fish pond. Or, simply lie back and relax on one of the hammocks as you wait for your dinner.  Day 2 Rise early today to head to "the land of dragon fruit", Go Cong. Enjoy a motorbike drive through a dragon fruit garden and experience an explosion of colors, aromas, and tastes before crossing the river to Tan Thanh Island. Ride along the island's narrow tracks, surrounded by a profusion of plants and rural life, and make your way to a coconut processing plant, a place where the locals make brooms and mats and where roofing material is made from water coconut leaves. Enjoy a warm greeting from the inhabitants and sample some delicious fresh coconut juice. Finish your magical time on the Mekong with a sampan ride along the river to a riverside home where you will enjoy a delicious seasonal lunch in a tranquil garden with only the birds and fish for company before heading back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh.
