Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho

Get picked up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head to Cai Be, the second-largest floating market in the lower Mekong Delta. Cruise through Cai Be floating market and stop for a short walk to discover local workshops making coconut candy, rice paper, snake wine, and more.

Enjoy lunch, then cruise along the river to discover beautiful landscapes and observe typical Mekong Delta rural life. At the end of the afternoon, move to Can Tho and have free time to explore in the evening.

Day 2: Cai Rang – Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel. Board the motorboat and cruise along the mighty Mekong River to the Cai Rang floating market, the largest market on the Mekong.

Visit the traditional Vietnamese flea markets selling rats, snakes, and frogs before visiting Mr. Ba Cong’s fruit orchard. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City and stop for lunch at an eco-restaurant en route before arriving back at your hotel in the afternoon.
