The cruise was the highlight of the Hop on Hop off experience. The bus tour hit the major points of interest and allowed us to more easily get to those points. The walking tour got us closer to specific locations like the House of Parliament and the Holocaust memorial. The steady and cold rain during the walking tour really did put a damper on appreciation of the sights. Still, well worth the cost and should be considered by anyone who has never been to Budapest. One negative experience, it rained and while the upper level of the bus was open, the protective cover did not stop the rain from pouring onto the passengers.

András was engaging interested good humoured patient proudly Hungarian and delightful to spend 3 hours with. His knowledge experience and English are phenomenal! We wanted to book another session but he was unavailable unfortunately. When we are next in Budapest we will only ask for him!
