3. Tallinn Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour

The Estonian maritime city of Tallinn is truly one of the gems of Northern Europe. The old town has been astonishingly well preserved and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. There is also a new town center, called Vabaduse Valjak or Freedom Square, at the edge of the old town. Nearby is the giant matchbox of Hotel Viru, a former tourist flagship and notorious den of Cold War intrigue. During this era, every room was tapped and monitored by the KGB! The city has been influenced by Germany, Italy, Russia, and Scandinavia. Tallinn’s calendar is packed with festivals celebrating music, film, art, theater, culture, and food. Sea-faring festivals, the Opera Festival, and the Tallinn Marathon also feature prominently on the calendar. Explore this alluring city and take advantage of all there is to see and do during your stay. Take the bus tour to the old town and admire the 14th and 15th-century architecture and narrow, twisting streets. You can also try out the local cuisine at any of a number of restaurants here. Super great tour in Lahemaa National Park. Paul knew so much about Tallinn and the park. He drove to a few sightseeing spots with us on the way, otherwise we got much more than just the planned tour in the national park. He always responded to individual requests from us participants and always had several options to choose from for the individual stations on the tour. In the evening we left the tour with many great impressions and great restaurant tips.

Jorge was a wonderful guide. He knew so much and shared it in a very interesting way. He mad the day very special. He was able to read the group and adjust the day accordingly. Thank you very much!!

Alexandra is a competent young woman who provided us with really interesting information about history and life in Tallinn. We can only warmly recommend you.

The wonderful nature park, the small group of few participants and the excellent competence of the guide made this experience unforgettable. To try!

Many thanks to Alexandra for the great and informative tour.
