    A floating tour on the old cruiser "Katharina“ is the best way to admire the wonderful panorama of the Old Town of Tallinn and its towers. You will learn about Tallinn's maritime history, and admire the historic shoreline and fancy cruise ships in the port. The navigation bridge will be open to visitors, and souvenir pictures can be taken there. Your trip begins at the historic Seaplane Harbor, and will take you around the shoreline of the Bay of Tallinn. Complete with seating both inside and outside, the ship has three saloons, seating a maximum of 200 guests at a time. It also boasts two sundecks, a seminar room, a bar and a restaurant.     We really enjoyed our food tour! We got a little history, saw some major sites and was introduced to some tasty local food. It is a neat introduction to the city.

    The tour itself was great. Mikk, our guide for the day, was amazing and very knowledgeable about Prangli Island, so much so that we thought he was a resident. The island itself is amazing and great to have a nice hike (there are 3 hours of free time during the trip). The only thing that could be improved is to let guests know what is being served for lunch as we were served fish which not everyone in the group eats. Apart from that, the tour is very highly recommended.

Lauri guided us through "his" city. The restaurants and cafes offered very good, local cuisine and were multifaceted (salty, sweet, drinks). All in all, an excellent mix of delicacies and things worth knowing. Any time!

Great way to get some idea of Estonian history and try some authentic food. Next time I‘ll do that at the beginning of my stay so I can follow up on some of the restaurant recommendations. Loved Estonian mushroom soup!
