Full description

Experience Ha Long Bay on a 2-day cruise, with a sea view or balcony room, cooking demonstrations, and plenty of entertainment onboard. Swim and kayak in the bay's emerald waters and explore its limestone islands and quaint villages.

Day 1: Hanoi Pickup and Ha Long Bay

The first day of your cruise begins with a hotel pickup from the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Meet with fellow cruise guests and get to know travelers from all around the world. On your way to Ha Long Bay stop at a humanity center to check out local specialties and products.

Arrive at your cruise boat and receive a warm welcome from your captain. Afterward, sit for lunch and savor a delicious meal as the cruise passes through thousands of islands and islets of different shapes.

Stop near the floating villages and have the opportunity to kayak in the middle of the bay to admire its fascinating rock formations a bit closer. If possible that day, visit Titop Island.

Return to the boat for the evening and watch a cooking demonstration of Vietnamese spring rolls. Then delight in an idyllic dinner on board. Spend the rest of the night with free time to participate in activities such as squid fishing, karaoke, or star-gazing on the deck. Day 2: Ha Long Bay and Hanoi Drop-off

Have an early start to your day with morning exercises and photos. Sip your coffee or tea as you have breakfast. Relax and take in the breathtaking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay.

Check out of your cabin and then spend the rest of the morning exploring Ha Long Ba's Surprise Cave. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to impressive rock formations, incredibly tall ceilings, and an interesting legend.

From Surprise Cave, head back to the cruise boat's restaurant and eat lunch. Disembark for your transfer back to Hanoi.

The cruise was very good, itinarary good, the food excellent. But I lost 3 credit card and ۥ200 from my wallet. I left the bag in the room when we were went to the cave. And I left the bag when we were stop in the gallery, on the way back to Hanoi. Just realized when I get in the hotel.

I have to take a deduction from the stars. In my booking, the tour was still called a luxury cruise. It definitely wasn't. Tip: book on site. Hotels have great deals. However, you should not be limited to certain days. Nevertheless: many great experiences, great tour guide (Huong), nice crew on board and very good food on board. Especially individually for 16 people (vegan, depending on the culture no pork and/or beef, vegetarian with fish and seafood, for me nothing from the water... And all that in a small kitchen). Transfer (hotel pick-up and return) on time with toilet break. Completely smooth process (visit to a cave, kayak, visit to the beach with sunset viewing platform, pearl breeding station, overnight stay in the bay, make your own rice paper rolls).

Overall, it was AWESOME. The pick up was on time, the journey to Halong Bay was long but not too bad. The tour guide was easy to be understood, friendly and explained a lot of things along the way. The stay on the cruise was the highlight. I enjoyed all the activities. Food was nice too. If there is something that can be improved, it would be the 2nd day itinerary. Since this tour is actually a longer tour (3days 2nights), more than half of our group and the tour guide left to continue the itinerary while the rest of us were on standby on the cruise, had lunch early (around 11am) and waited till we got picked up to go back. It was quite a wait and I think that could be improved. I remember this cruise the most when I was in Vietnam. It was worth the money. Would recommend this to everyone travelling to Hanoi. Suitable for people who are adventurous or just planning to chill.
