We booked the tour package 2 days before and we had a great trip. Mr. Jon, our guide was very active and engaging. He came to pick us up from the hotel. The Halong bay boat ride, bamboo boat ride and the cave was all awesome. The tour took us to a Pearl culturing centre which was not mentioned in the package :-) The buffet was also good. Our guide, Mr. Jon, checked with each of the passengers whether we were Veg or Non-Veg and then if we would eat sea food. Since we said we wont eat sea food, he went the extra mile and ensured we got additional chicken dish in the boat. Only issue we faced was that the seats in the bus were narrow and two people would never be able to sit comfortably. Except for that, I would recommend this tour package.

A day packed to the brim with activities. A highlight for us was kayaking around the islands and through the caves however you can also sit in a small boat and be taken around by a guide. Stunning scenery. Walking through the cave Thiên Cung was really interesting and no photos or videos do justice to its size. Our tour guide was Jc and he was full of energy and story telling. He absolutely made the trip. Highly recommend this tour. #hlb

The tour was a good combo: cruise with lunch, kayaking and touring the heaven palace cave. The tour guide, "Benjamin" was informative and funny. The only downside was that despite driving on the new highway, with pearl outlet store and pit stops, we only had about 4 hours at Halong Bay.
