Day 1: Ha Giang City – Yen Minh town – Tham Ma pass - H’mong King palace - Dong Van (B,L,D) The tour starts at 8:00 am, when your guide picks you up from the hostel. You will quickly see a big change in the scenery as you drive into the mountains before the town of Tam Son. We will cross Bac Sum Pass and go up the Heaven Gate to enjoy the twin mountains and the whole view of Tam Son town. The drive will continue towards the town of Yen Minh, where you can enjoy delicious lunch. After, we will drive towards Dong Van, through picturesque Chin Khoanh pass. The whole Dong Van Karst Plateau is a major geoheritage sight in Vietnam. You will see unending rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks and breath-taking views. You can observe the lives of hill-tribe villages where local people work on the land. A few kilometers before reaching Dong Van Town, we will stop in Hmong King’s Palace, a home for Voung’s family in Sa Phin. We will arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon, just in time to enjoy a good dinner. In the evening, you can explore the town and relax before the next eventful day. Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac Town – Du Gia (B,L,D) After a delicious breakfast we leave Dong Van Town to enter, arguably, the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. The legendary pass is well known for craggy cliffs and breath-taking views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the "king" of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road is winding through the cliffs and overcomes Ma Pi Leng pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters. To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will trek the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que river. From the amazing mountain viewpoint you will be able to experience a 360° panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures.
