The tour was great! Yes, the commentary is in German (as described), and our guide was cracking a fair number of jokes which might be harder to understand for a less proficient speaker. However, most of the facts (size of port, number of containers etc) of the port should be easier to understand. You get a nice round through the river portion and industrial section of the harbor, and see huge container ships, shipyards, recycling stations, and dry docks. Definitely recommend the 2 hour tour instead of just 1 hour!

Decent boat with friendly employees! The captain is describing the sights and adjusts his commentary to the ships that currently lie in the harbour, this makes it a great experience! We got to see both the city of Hamburg as well as the impressive harbour at the other side of the river! Highly recommended!

Nice tour around the harbour including close encounters with the big container ships which was the most impressive part. Captain knew a lot about the history of the harbour and the current boats and ships in the harbour. The close pass-by with the Elbphilharmonie was also great.

It was well worth it. It's nice to see the Harbor and Hamburg from the water. The only problem was that we had a hard time understanding the Captain. Might need to look into a different speaker system.

A very special boattrip. So many sigjts to see in one hour. Impressive. One person to serve drinks for so many people was a drawback. we waited for a glass of water for one hour.
