Full description

Together with your guide, you follow the trail of crime through St. Pauli. Learn about the Spartacus League and their infamous raids along Reeperbahn. Find out about the situation of prostitutes then and now, and how their sly pimps kept under the radar, while still brewing up trouble in dodgy bars. The focus of this tour is on crime and the different way in which it was persecuted and defined from the First World War until around 1990. Famous murderers are presented, for example Werner ‘Mucki’ Pinzner. In addition, we show you various crime scenes and the meeting points of local gangs. Learn more about the backgrounds of past crimes. This tour shows you the dark side of Hamburg’s famous entertainment district.

Was an interesting tour. We heard incredible stories.

The guide, a woman, led us through the St. Pauli from crime scene to crime scene. Wherever we stopped. she told us exciting annectodes and in some cases also read quotations, which framed and brought the whole thing closer. Incredible stories came out. We would book the tour again at any time.

Apart from the bad weather it was really nice.

We booked the tour for our Staff Christmas party.sadly the weather was bad. The tour took in St Pauli and part of the Reeperbahn and concentrated on the underworld from the early 20 centry up to 1995.Nice stories and anecdotes.However I found it abit overpriced and would have liked a group discount.

Also highly recommended for people who live in Hamburg.

Very nice tour run by locals. As someone who lives in Hamburg myself, I learned lots and saw places that I never would have normally seen, or have even just overlooked. The information was told in an entertaining way and with interesting stories. As a whole, this tour was very fun and we were very impressed!
