What people are saying about Hafnarfjörður

Brilliant day hiking! There is an option to carry on the walk for those that are keen. We did this whilst others went back to the bus. We just had to be back at the carpark to meet them at 3pm. Volcano has stopped erupting now so no glowing lava, but it was a great hike to see black lava that is still steaming. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who gave us chocolate at the top. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Siggy was very knowledgeable and upbeat during a physically demanding 12 km hike. He engaged all group members and connected on a personal level regardless of nationality. Siggy was safety conscious and assisted in the descent where I could not do so myself due to physical limitation.

Our tour guide Oto (hope I got his name right) was super friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. To be so close to the live volcano and lava field is a rare experience. Highly recommend

This was a great activity but you need to be ready to walk. The path has loose rocks and sand so you can slip easily. Recommended to pay the sticks.

We had amazing weather and our tour guide was so lovely. Definitely worth the hike for some glorious views.
