Absolutely a most wonderful day and one of our highlights when visiting Rome. Our private guide, Giorgi (nick name), was terrific. I highly recommend her. She met us punctually with a driver at our hotel and started passing along information as soon as our drive to Tivoli got under way. She patiently answered all our many questions and provided the history/facts at each site visited which included Villa D’este, the gorgeous fountains of Tivoli Gardens, and the ruins of Hadrian’s Villa. Thank you also for the efficient handling of our booking and for keeping in close communication with us regarding our booking confirmation as the date approached.

The tour was exactly as advertised. Our driver, Luigi, arrived on time and delivered us to our excellent local guide, Donato, who was knowledgeable and personable. The pace of our tours of Villa Adriano and Villa D’Este was relaxed and enjoyable and Luigi then delivered us back to our hotel exactly five hours later.

Die Abholung am Hotel hat super funktioniert. Der mehrsprachige Guide war klasse und hat die Führung sehr interessant gestaltet. Wir hatten die Tour in Englisch gebucht, da Deutsch nicht verfügbar war, und haben alles super verstanden. Auch der Autausch mit den anderen 5 Gästen der Kleingruppe, vier Amerikaner und eine Italienerin, hat super geklappt. Der Fokus lag klar auf der Villa Adriana, wo wir die meiste Zeit verbracht haben. In der Villa d' Este hätten wir uns etwas mehr Zeit gewünscht, vielleicht 1,5 statt 1 Stunde. Insgesamt hat sich diese halbtägige Tour (gesamt ca. 5 Stunden inkl. Fahrtzeit) für uns aber sehr gelohnt und viel Spaß gemacht. Die Organisation durch die örtliche Agentur war prima. Es war sehr kurzweilig - mille Grazie!
