My 21 year old son and I had a great day in Peneda Geres National Park. Nuno, our guide was really friendly and helpful and gelled our small group of 8 together very well. The 4X4 reached otherwise inaccessible starting points for our walks into the mountains. These were reasonably strenuous but the beautiful views were well worth the treks as was swimming the lagoons. Nuno kept a good pace and we never felt hurried. I do wish I had brought better walking shoes though! The relaxed lunch in the hillside village was great too. A very enjoyable and memorable day ideal for all ages of reasonable fitness.
The experience was outwordly and adventurous. I would even say it was THE BEST part of our trip through Portugal. The view was georgous and for your selfie and picture lovers it will totaly rock your social media or your friends. We saw waterfalls, mountains, clifs, forest and the view in general, which ,might I add, was breathtaking, but the trip would NOT have been so fun without out tour guide Miguel. He is very helpful, entertaining, atractive and full of energy and spirit. He also has a good sense of humor. ;)
We had a great day trip to the National Park with Alex as our guide. What an amazing day. We swam in secluded waterfalls and even in the lake in a thunderstorm. We saw heaps of wildlife, including squirrels, which Alex had not seen before. Alex is an extremely enthusiastic guide who made the day all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
It was a great day and good company. Our guide Luis was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Kayaking is an amazing part of this experience. Beautiful nature, lots of fun, tasty food and you are recharged:) I would definitely repeat this experience!
Great experience I would highly recommend it. The hikes were light and pretty, the food was great, and the tour guide was amazing. They really care about the local community and want to support it, but not overload it with tourists.
