Awesome tour. We went on a day trip to the Cacahuamilpa caves and Taxco . Our guide, Javier picked us up on time . He was courteous , attentive and responsive. Javier translated what the official guide at the caves was saying in Spanish- so we were able to enjoy the tour of the caves and appreciate its awesome beauty even more. Next we went to Taxco. Had a truly authentic Mexican meal at the La Noche Estrellada . After lunch, we visited one of the oldest churches. Renovation work was going on but it was still beautiful to see. In Taxco, a local guide was there to explainh about the buildings and statues we saw downtown and around the central plaza. Had enough time to buy souvenirs and browse the silver jewellery stores . The guides on the tour were happy to share their knowledge of local history and culture an answer any questions we had . Would definitely recommend this tour with Travis Adventures.

After a visit to Palma Sola that will not last less than one hour and a half, the tour will head to the Mercado Municipal: a really eye-opener. This large Mexican market is fascinating.  There will be so much to see—dry goods, housewares, gorgeous flowers, candy, live roosters, fresh produce and much more. Many stalls feature health care products, which were a combination of herbal remedies and Santeria (witch doctor) type spells and prayers to saints. One of these stalls has a cage full of large live bugs and animals whose purpose you´d prefer no...

Roger and Alex our guides picked me up very punctually, they were very knowledgeable and fun to be with, they make my visit not only an interesting one but fun as well. We were the only visitors so we had an uninterrupted time exploring the site. It is steep, hot and muggy but worth the trek to see the rock drawings from nearly 3000 years ago. A wonderful way to spend an hour or two and take you away from the hustle and bustle of busy Acapulco. We after head visiting the Municipal Market, this is different than the so called flea market, the goods are fruit, spices, home baked goods, some crafts, and pottery. After visiting it, I think we saw the real people of Acapulco this is a great place to buy fresh foods and other lovely items. I recommend this tour if yo u want to get out of the beaten path and if you want to learn about Mexico.
