Full description

Journey through the wine-producing region of Tuscany on a guided day trip from Florence. Visit three organic wineries and enjoy lunch with a tasting of local wines, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Take a walk in the medieval town of Greve in Chianti.

Start your day trip driving through the Tuscan countryside. Reach the first winery to learn about the winemaking process. Visit the farm, the cellar and learn all of the secrets to making wine.

Next, move on to another selected hilltop wine estate, where a wine expert is waiting for you to share facts and anecdotes about the process. Sit down for a light lunch accompanied by the winery's own wines and products.

After lunch, head to Greve in Chianti, for a quick stop in the most representative village of the Chianti Classico countryside. Take some free time to admire the main square before continuing to the final stop, a historical family-owned villa and winery.

Admire the views of Florence and one of the most beautiful Italian gardens in the area. Taste the winery’s local products, made with the deepest respect for the cultivation traditions of the region. Compare the products and the philosophies of these three different local winemakers.

We enjoyed this tour. The guide Daniele and the driver were very friendly. The tour was well-organized. We visited three different wineries, and each of them provided a slightly different experience and introduced us to their excellent wines (for example, in the first winery we had a guided tour of the cellars before the tasting; in the second we had lunch and tasted their white wine before their reds; in the third we got to see the beautiful surroundings and the property's garden before the tasting). All the people who led the tastings in the wineries were knowledgeable and passionate about wine-making.

I went on my own on this tour, this time run by Violeta and Andrea, and had such a great experience. Violeta was so much fun and knowledgable. Everyone was quiet in the beginning, but as the wine started flowing, we were all fast pals. There was so much more wine than I expected, and the food was amazing. The tours were all great and the hosts of every location we visited were lovely and hospitable.

Absolutely wonderful, had an amazing time and an amazing experience with our group and guide. Violetta was spectacular and wonderfully informative and tons of fun, and Tony was one of the most experienced drivers ever. Would highly recommend that everyone takes this tour if they visit Tuscany.
