Full description

Journey through the wine-producing region of Tuscany on a day trip from Florence. Admire the countryside and hear all about it from your driver. Visit 3 wineries and enjoy lunch with a tasting of local wines, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Take a walk in the medieval town of Greve in Chianti.

Start your day trip driving to the south of Florence, through the Tuscan countryside. Reach the first winery to learn about the winemaking process. Visit the farm, and satisfy all of your curiosity.

Next, move on to another selected hilltop wine estate, where a wine expert is waiting for you to share the facts and anecdotes behind this product. Take a guided tour of the farm and learn all of the secrets to making wine.

Sit down for lunch accompanied by the winery's own wines and Vin Santo (dessert wine). Nothing is rushed, so take the time to relax and enjoy. After lunch, head to Greve in Chianti, the most representative village of the Chianti Classico countryside. Take some free time to admire the attractive main square. Continue to the third winery, and taste their products, before you head back to Florence.

Great to way to see the wineries and learn history about them! The last winery was the least informational and they left us to do our own thing with the tasting, which was a slight bummer to end on. But otherwise great stuff at all of them, especially wine and food!

This experience was the best one I had in Italy. It is worth all the money. Violeta was our guide and she is the most kind, amazing and knowledgeable guide ever. We learned a lot about the city and she even helped us at the end of the experience to find a taxi and stayed with us until it came.

Leo was amazing! Such an informative tour, a good balance of humour and facts! We went as a group of 8 - ranging from 30 to my parents in their 60s and we all enjoyed it. The bus was very comfortable and the winery’s and food were great. If you don’t enjoy this tour you won’t enjoy any.
