We had such a terrific tour with our guide Edu. He was so knowledgeable, and shared a delightful passion and excitement toward this site that was infectious! He was skillful in moving us through these spaces, and made an already remarkable place even more accessible and alive. I cannot recommend him more highly - worth every penny!!!

Our guide, Hamdi, was articulate, knowledgeable , considerate, friendly, and well informed. He had deep ancillary knowledge (ability to read Kufic & Arabic script, etc) that allowed him to provide enhanced insights. When there was more than one theory about an event or building in the Alhambra, he shared each one. He was patient as we snapped photos or asked our many questions. He had thought the excursion through in advance--scheduling our outdoor portion of the visit in the early morning hours and holding back the interior palaces portion to the blazing hot midday. Although he had a plan, he was flexible and responded to our requests to veer off to see one aspect or another in more detail or proximity . In our family of two adults and one teen, we have very different interests. Hamdi was able to connect with each of us and truly expand our knowledge and appreciation of the magnificent Alhambra.

A really excellent tour guide (Marta) was easy to find at the start of the tour, spoke excellent English, made unhurried introductions and continued in the same structured and informative manner throughout the tour which extended to four fascinating hours. All questions answered and many details of period history, Arabic language, poetry, architecture, building methods, flamenco music and dance. All four of us would happily go back and do it all again, or have the same guide to show us around any other Granada sites.
