Full description
Get back to nature on this true Australian 2-day adventure. Discover unique wildlife and magnificent scenery of rocks, mountains, and waterfalls. Meet your group in Melbourne CBD and set off for your tour of the Great Ocean Road. Start with a fantastic drive along one of the world’s most incredible coastal roads. See Torquay Surf City, home of the Rip Curl, and the world-famous Bells Beach. Pass through the quaint coastal towns of Lorne and Apollo Bay. Go for a rainforest walk through fragrant eucalyptus trees and spot koalas in the wild as you go. Look out for the bright flash of crimson rosellas and king parrots. Then, drive along the historic Shipwreck Coast, and marvel at the towering cliffs this region is known for. Admire the staircase-like series of rocks at Gibson Steps before moving on to admire the famous limestone sea stacks of the Twelve Apostles. Next, sit back and relax as you continue on to the mountain town of Halls Gap and check into your provided accommodation. Wake up with kangaroos at your doorstep, ready for a day of exploring this nature lover's paradise. Discover the Grampians by foot on a scenic nature walk, and then cool off at the refreshing Mackenzie Falls. Look out for native bird life, and go to Reed's Lookout and the Balconies for superb views across the Victoria Valley. Return to Melbourne at the end of the tour, knowing that you have created memories to last a lifetime.
