Berlin: Private Cold War Walking Tour

We took this walking tour on 17 Feb 2020 and it was absolutely excellent. Our guide Kai was really fantastic. Very knowledgeable and engaging and with perfect spoken English. It is not the most obvious meeting point (most other tours start at the Brandenburg gate) so make sure you plan your way there in advance. We definitely saw key sights that we would have missed if we had attempted a tour unguided, inc the memorial to the night of the broken glass which is hidden away near a children's playground. The stop at the museum was very brief (30 mins) and not enough time to see all we wanted re the exhibits so we went back there (entry free) the next day. Recommend taking a snack with you as it is a long tour. Highly recommend and think this is a must do excursion for anyone visiting Berlin.
We got lucky with our Tour and Tour Guide Carlos. We were able to take our time and he pointed out so many things that we had seen before but didn't know the history behind it. 3 Hours may not sound like a lot but you are definitely beat afterwards.
Had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Jess. He knew everything about the history of Germany and hitler. JESS was very committed to the tour, and he made sure we left with a piece of his knowledge. I 100% recommmend!!
I had an excellent introduction to Berlin on this tour. I loved the stories of the guide. We saw both the highlights of the city and small hard to miss sites. Berlin has so much history, our guide really brought it too live.
Tour guide Sebastion B was great, very informative, presenting a compelling picture of Hitler & the Nazis rise to power. No interiors, but many of the most important WWII sites And the stories behind them.
