Gothenburg: Guided Walking and Swedish Fika Tour
- Small group
- Duration: 2 hours
Do as the Swedish do and go for a traditional fika at a fik. Your guide will teach you the art of Swedish fika, the act of relaxing with a coffee and a pastry. Discover Gothenburg’s top-class cafés and award-winning bakeries. Immerse yourself in their charming atmosphere and take Instagram-worthy photos of your treats. You will also hear stories about the city and learn interesting facts on this 2-hour walking tour.
At 10 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in Gothenburg by our tour guide and driven to the Fish Church (Feskekôrka). It is an indoor fish market, whose name originates from the building's resemblance to a Neo-Gothic church. Gothenburg has long been known for its gastronomic scene, with a strong focus on seafood. Since the market opened in 1874, it has become a key tourist site in the city. Visit the stalls of the indoor hall and purchase fish and shellfish, including local delicacies. In addition to the fish market, there is also a seafood restaurant in the building.
