  • Outlander Adventure 1-Day Tour from Glasgow

    1. Outlander Adventure 1-Day Tour from Glasgow

The tour leaves Glasgow and begins following the trail of the best-known film locations featured in the Outlander TV Series. You journey past Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument to Doune Castle, or as it’s called in Outlander, Castle Leoch. This formidable building gives you an insight into the living conditions of a Scottish earl in the 14th-century. You can also listen to an excellent audio guide about how this castle was used as a filming location for Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Heading north, your next stop is the small town of Falkland to relive the first scenes of the show, where Falkland substitutes 1940’s Inverness. See if you can recognize the familiar sights such as Mrs. Baird’s Guesthouses and the Bruce Fountain. Please note, however, that between October 1, 2019-March 31, 2020, the tour will not be stopping at Falkland Palace. Next is the charming village of Culro...

You will, of course, have the opportunity to tour this beautiful...

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour on the 03.03.20 with my daughter. The tour guide/driver, Iain, was very entertaining, knowledgeable and accommodating. He probably even organised the beautiful sunny weather we experienced! The views of the Highlands were magnificent. (And Iain's playlist on the return journey was excellent!) Will definitely recommend this tour!

Alastair has been a lovely guide on our Outlander tour. He's built a great rapport with all of us from the start, very knowledgeable both about the show and wcottiah history which made it an excellent experience! only drawbqck that there were some unexpected sites closures, not providers fault, but our guide made up for that by being flexible, taking us to other places around and allowing more time at locations. Overall a wonderful day well spent!

Guide alistair was very attentive and knowledgable. Nothing was to much trouble for him to make our day as enjoyable as possible. He had a great sense of humour and we felt very relaxed and confident in his care. Overall a great day out and would recommend the company and the trip. We would not hesitate to book another trip with Rabbies.

What can we say about this tour except it does everything it says it does. Cameron our driver was extremely knowledgeable not only about Outlander but also Scottish history. Would highly recommend this tour. Five stars
