Lovely day trip in Aukštaitija Nationalpark

Directly after booking and the official booking confirmation I received another email from Anastassia (the tour company) directly. WOW, that's quite a service!! Asking me, where we should meet, or to pick me up wherever I am. As we are in the first days of June, the high season hasn't started yet. So I was lucky to be the only guest. Andrius, the tour guide picked me up exactly on time in the morning. We have been hiking then for two hours before Andrius prepared a campfire and a perfect picknick for lunch on the shore of a lake. After swimming in the lake we kept on hiking again. It was such a beautiful tour with great views from hills and a watch tower over so many lakes, that I lost track. I can highly recommend this tour for all people who love the nature and love to be outdoors. You can find a detailed report of this tour (in German language) and with a lot of photos on my travel blog: alla-on-tour.de/wandertour-im-aukstaitija-Nationalpark. Ačiū, Andruis, for a great tour and lo

Nice, uncomplicated, spontaneous

We booked the trip in Octobre when it was cold and a bit rainy but nevertheless we really enjoyed the beautiful nature. Anton was a very nice guide and even able to light the fire with wet wood. We asked for veggie food and got delicious veggies and also hot coffee and tea which was perfect for the cold weather. We were accompanied by his young dog and we loved that he asked before if we are ok with dogs. Unfortunately at this time there were no more herbs and berries to explore, but so we had a longer walk and always the decision where we want to go. That's why at the end we actually had a longer trip than planned. We can higly recommend the tour with Anton!

Having a tour with Anton was just an amazing experience. We came without knowing what to expect and it was far above any other hikes we did. Anton showed us wonderful places, had prepared everything for us and shared stories. What else could we say than time flies when you are hiking in such a beautiful place with such a nice person. We would definitely recommend and do it again :)
