Oh my gosh, this was the most amazing day trip from Amsterdam, I highly recommend it! Our guide, Cherry, was knowledgeable, kind, and full of information. The tour we booked, just to Giethoorn, was canceled and we were added to another tour that included Zaanse Schans to see a clog factory, cheese shop, and windmills. I highly recommend doing all of this. Watching a clog being made was super cool, tasting the cheese and learning how it is made was yummy, and the windmills made for some great photos. We then stopped for lunch at a restaurant just outside of Giethoorn. The food was Mediterranean and quite tasty, the servings were generous and the prices weren't bad. Once we arrived in Giethoorn we took a boat ride around the canals, the scenery was spectacular, I can't even begin to describe the fairytale aspects of this village. Once the boat ride was over we had plenty of time to explore the shops and get a treat. This tour was, in a word, fabulous!

We had a great day. Giethoon was very crowded so I would try to go on a weekday if possible. There was not enough participation for what we booked so they upgraded us to a stop at the windmills, cheese tasting and clog making demo also. It was well worth the extra time. There is a 1.5 hour ride to Giethoon from Amsterdam so be prepared for that. They went above and beyond for us to make another appointment and we really appreciated the assistance. Great tour company!

Trip was well organized and Cherry keeps track of everybody very well. The vans we took out there were pretty nice. Ildos drives a second van for Cherry and he's an outstanding guide and fun to talk to.

Your was excellent. Location idyllic. Small group. Guide was pleasant but not very informative. Spoke so low you couldn’t hear him,. Really added very little to trip. Would recommend for location.

It was a wonderful experience Thank you GetYourGuide for making my holiday a memorable one.
