This was one of the best walking tours I have been on. Our guide took on the persona of a historic character who, as a child, had been there when the Confederate troops first showed up in Gettysburg on their way north toward Harrisburg. His tour was geared primarily toward how the troupe movements and fighting affected the local people of the town. As you walked around, you were introduced to characters as you stood in front of their home or business locations as of July 1-4, 1863. He was so good that his narration brought several of our small group to tears at times from the emotions that he was able to elicit. And, since nobody in our group had any pressing plans, our 2-hour tour lasted 3 1/2 hours. AMAZING!
This tour was very informative with a decent walking pace. The guide was very knowledgeable and made it fun. There is a lot to see here. I highly recommend this tour and guide.

Our guide was very informative and he made it very interesting. The paranormal Activity was quite fascinating and I really enjoyed it.
Riding around the battlefields really gave a sense of what the soldiers saw. The historian gave some good insights about the battle.
