Berlin: 3-Hour Cruise on River Spree from East to West

1. Berlin: 3-Hour Cruise on River Spree from East to West

This city tour along the Spree is the perfect way to feel the pulse of this vibrant city. From Jannowitzbrücke, pass the Frauenhofer Institute, the Spreebogen, see the newly built Ministry of Interiors in the heart of Moabit, the old Bolle-Meierei (dairy farm) and head toward the Reichstag (Parliament Building). Ride right through the government district and past the 'House of World Cultures.' At the Luther Bridge, enjoy perfect views of Bellevue Palace, the Beamtenschlange (civil servant accommodation), and the Victory Column, all of which have borne witness to Berlin’s colorful past. The journey continues past the gigantic new Hauptbahnhof (central station), the fantastically baroque Berlin Cathedral, and Museum Island - the largest museum complex in the world, to Berlin’s oldest residential neighborhood, the Nikolaiviertel, then all the way to Gotzkowsky Bridge in Moabit/Charlottenburg. The journey ends here, from which point you can take the 245 bus to Zoologischer Garten directly from the tour end point, or continue to explore the city by foot.

Exceptional!

I expected good, but this was outstanding! Beautiful sights along the way, highly recommended for visitors with limited time who want to get a good overview. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke great English. I also appreciated that he checked in at each stop that English was still needed. The only thing that could have been better was the loading experience. The person didn't speak English and was quite rude and abrupt. Not the best first impression.

Spree cruise excellent, joining instructions disaster

We were assured by you that although the start point was changed to Jannowitzbrucke the cruise still departed at 1150. When I checked in at the Kasse I was told that was incorrect & it didn't leave until 1440. We were advised to go all the way to Hafen Treptow where it actually started at 1410.

It completely met my expectations

The tour started right on time, the most important information was summarized concisely, the personnel were polite and obliging, my family and I had a lot of fun. We'd recommend a ride like this to anyone who doesn't have a lot of time but who wants to see a lot.

Highlight of Berlin

This was my personal highlight. As a photographer you can see different perspectives out from the water. Nice staff.

A very beautiful trip on the river Spree.

Beautiful trip on the Spree. We would love to go again any time.
