Full description
Board a bus from Geneva to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, and in 90 minutes, arrive at this Alpine village to discover the beauty of the mountains. In the morning, ride up the cable car to the summit. At more than 3842 meters, be impressed by the Majestic Mont-Blanc and all the peaks around you. If you are feeling adventurous, take a breathtaking step into the void. Three glass walls, the glass floor, and glass ceiling panels give you a unique experience enhanced by 1000 meters of free air directly under your feet, in total safety! Look around and admire the highest peaks in Western Europe, and view the Bossons Glacier, with the greatest descent in Europe, from a dramatic perspective.  Snap some incredible landscapes from one of the numerous panoramic terraces, or warm your hands around a coffee from the shop. Head back to the village, and take a freetime to put your sensations back together before you take the Mountain train Montenvers to discover the Ice Sea. This is the largest glacier of France, featured in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. Take the steps down to visit the Ice Caves. Enjoy the museum and the view from the panoramic terrace, before you head back.

Great tour. Unfortunately the was no visibility from the top of Auguille du Midi except a few brief moment with a slight break on the cloud cover (obviously the tour company has no control over the weather). The afternoon trip to Mer de Glacé was clearer. Nevertheless, it was well worth going. We had a great day. Our guide (Chris) was great.

Beautiful day out and worth the money for the time spent in this area. Scenery was stunning. Bus trip about 45min from Lake Geneva, two sets of cable cars to get you up to top of Mont Blanc, we then took the small train up the hill to then make the trip down into the ice caves, which again was worth the 500-odd steps down, as it is beautiful, and you can see the history, and the development of the glacier as it moves. I would watch if you are not fit, as the return walk is a bit tiring. Back down on the train and wandered around the shops and had some lunch, to then take the return trip back to Geneva.

The condition is

I enjoyed Chamony & Montblanc for the first time in a long time, but the microphone of the bus was out of order and the train was suspended. This tour is like a self-guided tour, and if you are not accustomed to traveling to some extent, you may be left behind, so if you are not very accustomed to it, it is better to take another full attendance tour that speaks Japanese. It can be said that it is good.
