This day trip itinerary is designed to give you a taste of some of the most beautiful and historic destinations in Armenia. Starting from Yerevan, you will first visit Sevan Lake, which is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the world and a popular tourist destination. Here, you can take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. You will then visit the nearby Sevanavank Monastery, which offers breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding landscape. After leaving Sevan, you will head to Dilijan National Park and visit Parz Lake, a small but picturesque lake located in the park. Here, you can take a walk around the lake and enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding forest. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Haghartsin Monastery, which is nestled in the forest and is known for its picturesque setting and historic architecture. Next, you will head to Dilijan city and take a leisurely walk through the charming town. Dilijan is known for its 19th-century architecture and artisan shops, and you can take in the sights and sounds of this delightful town at your own pace. Finally, you will return to Tsaghkadzor, a popular mountain resort town known for its skiing, hiking, and other outdoor activities. Here, you can take a cable car ride up the mountain for stunning views of the area and explore the town at your leisure. The tour concludes with a return to Yerevan, where you can reflect on the day's experiences and memories of the beautiful sights and sounds of Armenia.

In the morning, meeting your guide in the lobby of your hotel and start the adventurous camping tour. Head to the Western part of Gegharkunik Region to start the hiking mission to the highest point of The Geghama Range. First, discover the crater Lake Akna on the foot of the extinct volcano Azhdahak. Climb up the slopes and enjoy fragrant flowers and the beauty of virgin landscapes. Afterward, reach the summit of the mount and unveil the views of the biblical Mount Ararat, the valley of Kotayk, Lake Sevan and the whole Geghama mountain range. Later, descend to Vanki Lake and set up the tents for overnight. Along the way, explore the petroglyphs and dragon stones near the Lake, which date back from 2 B.C. to 1 B.C. In the evening, delicious meals, a friendly atmosphere, and a warm campfire will fill your evening with joy. In the morning, fresh alpine air wakes you before you descend the Mount to drive to the next location, the UNESCO heritage site Geghard Monastic complex. Later, head to the Pagan Temple of Garni, another ancient marvel surrounded by divine backgrounds. In the evening, the comfortable vehicle will transfer you back to the capital city.

The town is located at the only direct rail link between Armenia and Georgia. Your guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel, from where you will be taken to the Dilijan National Park, a town of forested mountains full of natural wonders. On the way, you can admire Lake Sevan and stop at the famous Sevanavank Monastery to enjoy the beautiful panorama. Next, you will go to the town of Dilijan to start your trek from Lake Parz, which is nestled in the heart of the forest and is known for its relaxing surrounding nature. You will walk through the mountains, pass over the forest, and enjoy exciting views of the neighboring mountain ranges before gradually descending to the magnificent Goshavank Monastery, home of Mkhitar Gosh, the father of Armenian law. Following your stop at the monastery, you will continue your trekking by passing on the opposite side to reach Lake Gosh, the second lake of your day. You will go down to Gosh to finish your hike. On the way back, your vehicle will stop at Dilijan for you to admire the traditional architecture of the town, which combines stone buildings and wooden balconies. After a day full of memories, you will later be dropped off at your hotel in Yerevan.
